Once upon a time there was the beautiful Parco Ducale of Parma. Once upon a time there was a group of very bad children, who, armed with rod and line, dreamed of spending a sunny September Sunday giving the "hunting" to the fish that a friendly hand had specifically released in the park pond.
Fortunately, a group of brave decided to intervene to prevent the little devils from doing such monstrous acts at the address of the poor fins. The fight was hard, but most of the budding barbarians were rejected in tears.
Unfortunately, the intervention of the compliant authorities prevented our brave people from completing their work, disconsolate they had to leave the field, but proud that their work had saved many fish from their hooks….
This is not a cynical fable, the result of the twisted mind of some alternative artist, this unfortunately is the reality, the reality of what happened on Sunday in Parma when a group of children was attacked by the usual enlightened animal rights activists who wanted to prevent it from happening. of an event organized by the municipality and some local associations to promote the culture of fishing among the little ones.
Adding any comments we believe is superfluous, we just ask ourselves how much longer our institutions will continue to give credit to these characters, tolerating their work, or even listening to their false claims and their bizarre theories.
Once upon a time there was fishing, once upon a time there was hunting, once upon a time there was agriculture and livestock ... we cannot allow these activities, our traditions and our culture to become a legend, a fairy tale for the children of the future by giving in to the threats of a handful of screamers.
We will fall, we will get hurt, we will be mocked, but we will never stop defending our values.
