THELaore Sardinia Agency has organized and planned a series of training courses specially designed for i island hunters, but not only. The lessons are also addressed to the owners of the agritourism-hunting companies, to those of the Dog Training Areas (ZAC), wild boar farms for study and restocking purposes and to the presidents of the areas in concession for the exercise of the self-managed hunting. What is it specifically about?
The courses are part of the Sardinian project which aims to eradicate the African swine fever, one of the most contagious infectious diseases in the veterinary field. The aim is to eradicate the disease affecting the pig sector of Sardinia through various sanitary measures. The training is represented by a two-hour meeting and will be handled by technicians from the same agency: in addition, they will also participate the Forestry Corps, the Sardinian environmental surveillance personnel and the ASL veterinarians.
The first course in chronological order has been set for the next 3st May: the headquarters will be that of Sorgono (province of Nuoro), a municipality that will be involved together with those of Aritzo, Atzara, Austis, Belvì, Desulo, Gadoni, Meana, Sardo, Ortueri, Ovodda, Tonara, Teti and Tiana. The last one, on the contrary, there will be the next one 27st May, to be precise a Jerzu (Ogliastra). The last update of the calendar is just yesterday, Wednesday 27 April 2016.
