A new and rich edition
As part of the zootechnical checks provided for by the Herd Book of the purebred dog, the 2024 edition of the Alectoris Graeca Trophy has the objective of identifying and selecting mountain dogs suitable for searching for rock partridge. The Trophy includes a circuit of zootechnical selection trials for pointing dogs of English rock partridge breeds (only the points obtained on the rock partridge species count). To compete for the final ranking it is necessary to participate in at least 50% +1 of the test days actually carried out.
Islands and foreigners
Limited to drivers resident in the islands and foreign drivers, to compete for the final ranking it is necessary to participate in at least 30% +1 of the days of testing actually carried out outside the island of residence. If the days of tests carried out are an odd number, the participation obligation will be rounded up.
Qualifications and scores
The Trophy will be awarded to the person (male or female) who obtains the best score; in the event of a tie, the highest qualification will be awarded, in the event of a further tie, the second qualification will be awarded and so on. In the event of a further tie, the Trophy will be awarded to the youngest person. The female subject who scores the best score in the entire circuit will also be awarded a Trophy for the best female. A special prize will be up for grabs, called the Breeding Trophy, to be awarded to the holder of a recognized affix who has obtained the best score (calculated by adding the scores obtained by the individual subjects). A trophy will be awarded to the handler who, for two editions, even non-consecutive, has won the annual trophy even with different subjects (source: ENCI).
