«Every year i hunters of the Veneto, in addition to the taxes due as ordinary business citizens, they pay over seven million euros in government concession fees and almost four million euros in regional concession fees, money with which essential services are provided to the community, such as schools, roads, health, aid to families and businesses. It is therefore false to say that money is taken from businesses and citizens to give it to hunters. The exact opposite is true and that is that every year, with the money paid by the hunters, essential services are provided to all citizens ».
So the regional councilor Sergio Berlato (FdI / MCR) which explains «The hunters of the Veneto pay every year: Government concession fee: € 173,16 x 42.000 = 7.272.720; Regional concession fee: € 84,00 x 42.000 = 3.528.000; Average fee for ATC / CA access: € 200 X 42.000 = 8.400.000; Tax for stalking: € 55,78 x 10.000 = 557.800. Total taxes paid annually by Veneto hunters: € 19.758.520. Of these almost 20 million euros a year paid every year by hunters in the Veneto region, the Region returns on average 200 thousand euros to finance projects presented by all hunting associations in the Veneto on the basis of a regional law in force and on the basis of an announcement issued annually by the Regional Council ».
"The Board checks in advance the quality of the projects presented, aimed at raising awareness and involving the hunting world in the fight against poaching, intensifying the actions of prevention and repression, increase knowledge of the constantly evolving legislation on the subject, implement concrete initiatives for environmental restoration and requalification - specifies Berlato -. If the projects are previously approved by the Regional Council, they receive an advance of 30% of the estimated costs, while the balance is paid in the final balance, upon detailed presentation of all the supporting documents. For an average annual total of 200 thousand euros in total, against an income from the Region of almost 20 million euros per year". It should be remembered that the Region pays fishermen's associations, for similar projects, an average amount that is around 900 thousand euros - highlights the regional councilor -.
And if someone wants to verify how many millions of euros the various environmental animal associations can have, both through the destination of the 5xmille of IRPEF and through public contributions, we would have to pale. It being understood that the contributions to all hunting associations to which the article in the Gazzettino refers date back to 2018 and that I was elected President of the Veneti Hunters Association in July 2019, the year in which the same association did not receive even a euro - points out Berlato in conclusion - it is useful to remember how the disbursement of these resources was made in full compliance with the law and for public utility purposes ".
But we know so much that the ns. money ends up elsewhere .. It is not new .. Reflect on these data the various anti-hunts! How much do their organizations contribute to the common good of their region? How many taxes do they pay? Their offenses and insults towards us are words, parlor chatter. Our money is very, very concrete FACTS!
I agree with Alessandro. If the regions stopped funding these pseudo - environmental associations, it would be good for everyone and above all they would stop slandering us hunters. But what makes the most anger is that despite all these regional concessions taxes, there are regions, such as Sicily, which have banned almost all of the agro-forestry-pastoral territory from hunting. A real robbery.
