On 17 June 2019 it met a Thiene (VI) the Assembly of associates of ACR-Onlus to decide the future of this important aggregative tool that continues to have as its main objective the defense and promotion of Rural culture and of all the activities that carry it. During the Assembly, there were many interventions that underlined the need to relaunch the action of the Association for give it back that role of aggregative pole which, at the time of its birth, aroused a vast interest and managed to put the highest representatives of all economic and social categories that have their roots in rural culture around a table.
To give new propositional impulse to the activity of the Association, the Assembly proposed to the Hon. Sergio Berlato to lead the Association for the Defense and Promotion of Rural Culture, assuming the national presidency. With a great sense of responsibility and with the inevitable desire to fight to defend the rights of all bearers of rural culture, Sergio Berlato accepted the position with enthusiasm and without reservations, thus giving the Assembly the opportunity to formalize the election of the new President who, after thanking the members for the trust placed in him, immediately made it clear that a new phase will open immediately.
He thus asked all members and all managers, who have never stopped believing in the goodness of the project, to work alongside him to to make the ACR-Onlus return the instrument through which to fight the battles in defense of all the bearers of Rural Culture, and with which to provide correct information to public opinion on what our activities represent in numerical, economic, social and employment terms.
With a view to opening up to the outside world as much as possible, the convocation of another ordinary meeting will shortly be envisaged in which roles and competences will be defined within the new Management Committee, as well as the guidelines and the actions to be taken to bring ACR-Onlus back to play the role it is entitled to. The election of Sergio Berlato to lead the aggregative structure will be a guarantee for the future of the Association and for those who still want to fight to protect those activities that represent an important part of our history, our culture and our traditions.
