Hunting suspended in the marshes of eastern Sicily
The Regional Councilorship for Agricultural Resources has suspended hunting in the marshes of south-eastern Sicily to protect some native species of birds that have been found there. The decree, signed by the councilor Elio D'Antrassi, establishes that in the marshes of south-eastern Sicily and partly also within the area of the Special Protection Area "hunting is temporarily suspended until the exceptional conditions persist. the presence of fauna of particular conservation interest at European level "and up to the acquisition of the final" Impact Assessment "of the Regional Territory and Environment Department".
