In the territory ofAtc 3 Siena North operate 54 boar hunting teams who organize about 3 thousand hunters. The activity, as it is known, is carried out in sometimes very inaccessible places and unfortunately there are even serious accidents every year both with firearms and attacks by wild boars. Furthermore the average age of the participants is getting higher and higher therefore illnesses and accidents are not uncommon ... they say from ATC 3 and for this reason they will organize training courses held by doctors and nurses of the 118, will provide individual and collective first aid equipment to team members.
Also, they continue from the scope, there will be ...the identification by the teams of the evacuation points of the wounded, points where ambulances can easily arrive or where the Pegaso helicopter rescue can intervene identified with immovable signs provided by the ATC Siena Nord where the name of the location and the geographic coordinates in order to allow rapid and effective communication to the 118 operations center.
These pitches, kept in order by the teams, will be available in case of need for all users of the forest, from mushroom hunters to hikers, cyclists or motorcyclists and will facilitate all rescue operations.
