Great efficiency
On 13 subjects marked with satellite transmitter in December 2023, migration data are now available for 11, an excellent result both in terms of efficiency of the devices and tolerability by the marked animals, as the Federcaccia has underlined.
A large area
Many individuals have reached the breeding grounds in a large area ranging from Croatia to Russia. In the video below, the Coordinator of the Federcaccia Studies and Research Office, Doctor Michele Sorrenti, presents the data obtained up to the present day.
Correct methodology
Here's what Sorrenti said in particular: “The results relating to the specimens marked in the Marche and Sardinia are very good. This means that the methodology adopted was carried out correctly and also means that the survival and movements of important migrants are favored".
