The revocation of the Foresters
A very particular story comes directly from Umbria that has to do with hunting licenses. A man had his document revoked after having sown some doing more near an illegal hunting lodge to attract wild boars and kill them. The Carabinieri Forestali's photo traps allowed them to ascertain the incident and take appropriate measures.
The appeal to the TAR
The protagonist of the story did not however ascertain the verdict, appealing to the Regional Administrative Court and asking for the cancellation of the bans against him. The judges of the Umbrian TAR did not want to listen to reason and the decision was substantially confirmed.
The judgment of the judges
In fact, as stated in the sentence, "The carrying of weapons does not constitute an absolute right, but rather represents an exception to the normal prohibition on possessing weapons and such an exception can become operative only with respect to persons with respect to whom there is complete and perfect certainty regarding the 'proper use' of the weapons themselves, in such a way as to avoid any doubt or perplexity with regard to public order and the peaceful coexistence of the community".
