January 9, 2012 - At the conference hall, in the brand new headquarters of the provincial CONI of PARMA, crowded with the public in every order of place, in the presence of the highest political and religious sports authorities, in recent days the awarding of the Stars for Sports Merit was held from CONI itself. Overall, twelve stars were awarded, three of which were gold, four silver and five bronze.
On the occasion with the gold star Mr. ALDO VISCONTI was awarded the Regional President of FITAV; star certainly more than deserved for his long competent militancy in favor of the Italian Shooting Federation, first for twelve years as provincial manager and in the meantime also engaged as Referee Director of Shooting initially national and subsequently, for acquired merits, as International and in this role has been called for several times in international events.
Subsequently engaged for four years as Regional Vice President and finally for fifteen years to the Presidency of the Regional Committee. The reasons for the prestigious award were amply illustrated by the Provincial President of CONI Dr. Gianni Barbieri.
The delivery of the gold star, carried out by the member of the CONI National Council, Mrs. Alessia Arisi was underlined by a long applause from the large audience present, including the granddaughter who joined the long applause for her beloved grandfather.
The prestigious award means how close CONI is to our Federation. The members of the regional committee congratulate their President.
