Hunt: At Mondo Caccia, from 8 to 10 June, events, exhibitions, simulations and war games that offer a completely new panorama of an ancient sport.
Carrara, May 2012 - It is called dynamic airsoft shooting and today represents the new frontier of hunting because it allows enthusiasts (not necessarily hunters) to practice without hitting living targets.
Precisely for this reason the discipline has millions of fans in Italy who, together with those who want to experiment new forms of sport, will be able to try it at Carrara Fiere as part of Mondo Caccia, the second edition of the exhibition for traditional and sustainable hunting that will take place from eight to ten June.
This state-of-the-art shooting evolution can be tested at the fair in an equipped space where a 12-meter-long and 5-wide shooting line will be built, where spring-loaded shotguns called “snipers” will be used. The operations are carried out in absolute safety under the guidance of an expert who explains how to hold, load and aim the target in the sitting, standing and lying positions.
Alongside this static activity, a dynamic shooting line will be proposed at the fair based on a system of sensors connected to a computer, detecting the score and the execution time, always under the supervision of an instructor of the Italian dynamic sports shooting federation (FIDTS). .
The instructor will have the task of explaining in detail every single operation: from how the gun is held to the loading operations to how to aim up to the safe positioning at the end of the course.
An even more fascinating activity presented at the fair will be that of the “laser tag” which takes place in a large area where a war game is simulated with teams made up of 3/4 components. "The laser tag - anticipates Danilo Assirelli, of Softair Evolution, who takes care of the event in collaboration with FIDTS - derives from an electronic system supplied to various armies for training and was taken up by an Italian manufacturer who modified its characteristics adapting them to replicas of standard weapons ".
The weapon used, absolutely harmless, is a rifle equipped with an electronic control that emits an infrared light beam which, hitting a sensor connected to the helmet or to the vest of the participant, deactivates the opponent's weapon, thus preventing him from shoot.
Harmless weapons for exercises that simulate hunting and combat, without causing damage of any kind, thus become protagonists and demonstrate that an event like Mondo Caccia can become an opportunity to make contact with an evolved culture that offers absolutely harmless practices and tools.
