More than a thousand trained hunters
The Federcaccia courses aimed at preventing the disease continue PSA. After the biosecurity courses, during which over 1000 hunters from Bergamo were trained (450 wild boar hunters, 600 hunters who usually hunt in the restricted areas), this time it is the turn of wildlife operators. “Despite the lack of reforms of 157/92 that should have provided certainty regarding hunting calendars and the recent amenities that would limit the presence of foreign hunters in some provinces of Lombardy - explains the provincial President of Federcaccia Michele Bornaghi -, we continue to do our utmost to prevent the further spread of PSA. It goes without saying that hunting cannot be opposed and then considered necessary to combat PSA based on the convenience of the moment”.
