Il Tar of the Marche rejects the regional approach to hunting and accepts the appeal filed by the environmental associations, suspending the sampling of wild turtledove and lapwing, reducing the lark's game bag and prohibiting the use of "live" calls for hunting notwithstanding the starling. Hunting has always been a delicate issue and, only in October, had sparks registered even within the council, with the councilors Mirco Carloni (Hunting) e Stefano Aguzzi (Environment, and hunter in his spare time) on the two opposite sides of the ring due to the restrictions introduced on withdrawals for reversal.
Now, the pronouncement of the Tar - not the first and, in all likelihood, not even the last - requires a revision of the approach to the subject, also in view of the elaboration of the next hunting calendar. «As every year - the holder of the proxy Carloni said -, we will begin the conversation with Ispra and the various requests will be evaluated. THE administrative disputes on the subject of hunting there have always been and concern all Regions. In some, even this year the hunt was closed. We need careful management and, with a lot of effort, this is what we are working on as a competent councilor ».
Meanwhile, the environmental associations rejoice at the result achieved Enpa, Lac, Lav, Lipu and Wwf, according to which the reasons for the TAR ruling “put an end to the pro-venial drift of the Marche Region. The administrative judges have in fact amply justified the reasons on the suspension of hunting for turtledove and lapwing, on the reduction of the lark's game bag and on the use of live calls in hunting as an exception to the starling ». The administrative court had already expressed in September, as a precautionary measure, its convictions regarding the numerous issues raised by the appeal of the environmental associations of the Marche, represented by the lawyer Tommaso Rossi.
In the last sentence, the administrative judges justified their conclusions, based on the technical and scientific documentation produced by the associations, to counter the decisions deemed illegitimate by the Region regarding the hunting and hunting calendar in derogation of the Storno species. «Unassailable - continue the environmentalists - they have been the reasons that led to the immediate suspension of hunting for wild turtledove and lapwing, both species in dramatic decline across the European continent due to indiscriminate hunting and habitat destruction. In the same way, the question of the daily bag of the skylark was evaluated, also a species decimated by the loss of its habitat and by the hunting, which have been reduced by half as long ago requested by Ispra and the international scientific community "(Courier Adriatico).
