Great success
“Out of class… inside the school”: the discipline of Target sprint at the center of a six-week project, at the Ciampoli-Spaventa Comprehensive Institute of Atessa's Lower Secondary School, dedicated to the Target Sprint discipline, which was a great success and received significant participation from the students.
Strengthening motor skills
Coordinated by Prof. Marco La Verghetta, physical education teacher at the institute and member of the technical staff of the UITS National Teams, the initiative, which also involved the Abruzzo Regional Committee and the Lanciano National Shooting Range as suppliers of all the necessary equipment (including rifles and simulators), led boys and girls to try their hand at activities suitable for the school context - with the aim of improving the motor skills of students -, aimed at promoting at the same time full sports inclusion within the school environment.
Movement education
The enthusiasm shown by the participating students and their families has sent a positive signal for the future of this discipline in the area. Shooting can be an effective vehicle for promoting education in movement, inclusion and personal growth of children (Source: UITS).
