Carried out in the investigation of the Atc19 of Chianciano Terme (SI). President Alfio Sanchini was arrested. Also investigate four other people including Sanchini's son Mirko. Several crimes challenged by PM Aldo Natalini of the Siena Public Prosecutor's Office: auction disruption, abuse of office, embezzlement, forgery in public deed and false ideology. Sanchini had already been registered in the register of suspects last January. On that occasion, his home and office at the ATC had been searched. At the center of the investigation are six calls for tenders for the award of services and assignments by the ATC, a public law body, which implements hunting wildlife activities. The facts allegedly concern competitions held between 2009 and 2013 and an alleged embezzlement crime dating back to 2007. Among the suspects also Mirco Sanchini, son of the president of ATC 19 who, according to what is learned, would have been registered in the register as a shareholder of the company, based in Florence, assignee of the services covered by the calls for tender.
According to the indictment, Alfio Sanchini allegedly repeatedly, among other things, simulated requests for quotations and, immediately afterwards, attested to renouncing participation in the tenders themselves to favor the entrusting of tasks and services to individuals or companies.
