La FIDASC (Italian Federation of Hunting Sport Weapons Disciplines) has announced the sixteenth edition of the Italian Championship with followed dogs in moulting on wild boar (categories A and B) and the third Italian Championship with dogs followed in single, always on wild boar and with the same categories. It is an event in which athletes who have reached the age of majority and with packs and singles of hounds can participate. Dogs can be of any breed, national and foreign, whether or not they are registered in the ENCI herd books. As regards, however, the ages of the animals, the hounds that will participate in the championships for packs and singles of category A must not be over ten years old on the day of the final, while a minimum age of 18 months is required for what it concerns the individuals of the two categories.
The athletes of the two championships, then, must be in possession of an insurance policy within the limits established by law, without forgetting the FIDASC card valid for 2016. The regulation will be the one established by the Federation: for category A, reference will be made to the ENCI regulation for everything that is not contemplated by the FIDASC itself. The demonstration destined to the wetsuits takes place through inter-provincial preliminary rounds, followed by the inter-regional semifinals and the national final. The pack is considered the set of at least six hounds for categories A and B respectively. Qualified wetsuits with minimum judgment will be able to access the semifinals "Very good" during the provincial preliminary rounds.
They will go to the final test of category A (packs composed entirely of hounds registered in the recognized herd books) the first twelve qualified in the semifinals (3 in the North group, 6 in the Center, 2 in the South and 1 in Sardinia); the final of category B (packs composed entirely or partially of hounds not registered in the recognized herd books) will be reached by first twelve qualified sets but with different numbers depending on the groupings (2 from the North, 6 from the Center, 3 from the South and 1 from Sardinia). The Championship of the Singles category is also characterized by interprovincial preliminaries, interregional eliminations and the final round.
The first fifteen dogs of the semifinal will qualify for the test of category A, as well as that of category B. Now the communications of the Provincial Committees organizing the FIDASC are awaited, that is, those in whose territory of competence the interprovincial groupings are held: the program of the preliminary rounds with the exact indication of the locality will be issued in good time in order to proceed with the organization.
