On March 20 the First Commission for Institutional Affairs and Budget of Marche region has dismissed the legislative proposal of the junta concerning the financial advance for the hunting expenses. The speakers of the text are Francesco Giacinti, president of the same Commission, e Jessica Marcozzi, regional councilor. The approval came with six votes in favor and it is about 1.068.029,53 € which will allow the Region to manage in a timely manner the activities and obligations imposed by the European Union, Italy and the Marches in the field of hunting.
The proposal serves precisely to cover from a financial point of view the functions of the Territorial Areas of Hunting, specifically, the settlement of compensation for damage caused by wildlife, but not only. The recovery of the sums will take place within 15 days from the crediting of the regional concession fee, which is paid mainly at the end of the year.
President Giacinti wanted to underline how the proposal is an integral part of hunting policies, addressing the issue of damage to crops. Giacinti himself believes this is a strong signal to recognize the urgency of interventions relating to wildlife management, to protect biodiversity and sustainability of the agricultural sector.
