Urca Marches e Arci Caccia Marche, for many years they have been asking, sometimes even with joint letters, to open the withdrawal of the young male roe deer (M1) starting in June. The M1 of roe deer has limited access to mating that takes place at this time of the year, primarily reserved for adult males (M2). For this reason, its collection starting from 18 June does not interfere in any way with the delicate reproductive period of the species.
At the same time, by increasing the withdrawal period (June / September), the Marche hunters will be better able to guarantee the completion of the sampling plan of the young roe deer, up to now scarcely represented in the slaughter. We can therefore only thank the Vice President Mirco Carloni for the commitment he has made in obtaining this result.
