La Molise Regional Council officially approved the disciplinary that regulates the management of the wild boar species from the faunal-hunting point of view. The news was made public by Nicholas Knight, Regional Councilor for Agriculture and Forests. As the Knight himself explained, this regulation was designed to allow you to have notion of the presence of hunters on the territory, of the sampling on the species, as well as guaranteeing the safety of the participants, respect for the environment and limiting as much as possible the damage caused to agricultural crops by the excessive presence of ungulates.
The commissioner then added that the final objective of the text is very simple, albeit ambitious, namely the rebalancing of the number of wild boars which are present in the Molise area, creating at the same time a density that can be compatible with the development of the regional areas.
The emergency represented by the wild is quite serious in various regions of our country and unfortunately Molise is no exception. The management of these withdrawals will be entrusted to the three Territorial Areas of Hunting active, namely ATC 1 Campobasso, ATC 2 Termoli and ATC 3 Isernia. Expectations are very high and therefore the hope is to obtain important results.
