League for the Abolition of the Hunt (LAC), Anti-Vivisection League (LAV), Legambiente e SOS Gaia have made known the favorable opinion of the Regional Administrative Court of the Piemonte to their appeal against the hunting calendar of this territory. Here is what we read in the joint statement: “With a sentence of 20 May 2020, the Piedmont Regional Administrative Court wronged the Piedmont Region and sentenced it to pay the costs of two thousand euros, in addition to the legal accessories.
The Region had already run for cover by modifying the DGR of the 2019/2020 hunting calendar and recognizing a restrictive interpretation of the hunting calendar such as to limit hunting in the areas adjacent to the parks to hunters residing in the protected area and in the contiguous area only ”.
There were three reasons for the appeal, namely the annotation on hunting card of the killed garment once the recovery of the same has been completed, the exemption of the immediate annotation of the garments in private companies e the exclusion of the hunting ban in the areas adjacent to the parks provided for hunters not resident in Piedmont.
