Regional emergency
To curb the emergency represented by wild boars, everything is being tried in the Italian regions. One of the many examples is that of Puglia: just in the last few hours, the regional council decided to appoint a special task force. What do you have in mind with such a provision? Furthermore, an even more important question, will it be a decisive measure against ungulates?
Numerical control
The urban areas of Puglia are now the scene of one invasion after another and the Region has decided to create a coordination group to numerically control the wild boars. It is therefore not just a question relating to natural areas, as is happening in other areas of our country. The composition of the group is easy to say.
The composition of the group
This task force includes the Councilor for Agriculture, the manager of the section responsible for wildlife-hunting matters, a representative of the regional wildlife-hunting technical committee in the person of the lawyer Giuseppe Minervini, a representative of the regional wildlife observatory in the person of Dr. Lorenzo Gaudiano, an expert with proven scientific experience in wildlife matters in the person of Professor Laurence Jemmett, a representative of the Regional Environmental Supervision section in the person of Antonio Sancesario.
