The 2019 edition of the Game Fair; like every year, the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters has set up a stand to spread the only necessary message for the future of our passion among visitors, economic subjects, stakeholders and hunters present. To save hunting, relaunch one's social function, make it compatible with i environmental problems, the way forward is that of building a modern entity that collects the best experiences and skills capable of withstanding the confrontation and the challenges of the future.
This is why many, young people and many women involved in the hunting world also from a professional point of view, took turns under the flags of the CCT to confront and discuss tomorrow. The visit of the councilor Marco Remaschi to our stand was very welcome; a useful opportunity for a field interview. Remaschi has in fact highlighted the main contents to be included in the agenda in the coming weeks following the results of the last Regional Conference on Hunting. The Regional Hunting Wildlife Plan, the establishment of the scientific committee and the working group on the revision of the legislation, the role and the competences of the ATC, are just some of the points that will accompany us in this part of the legislature.
During the three days of the Game Fair, in addition to the numerous gadgets, thousands of copies of the CCT publication “Il Colpo d'Ala” were delivered, just to summarize and make known the countless initiatives held by the Confederation in the past months. An extremely important and qualified work that certifies the quality of a project that it is taking root more and more in the area every day. Dog lovers and recreational sports activities have had their space. The innovative experience of the “Braccata Rosa” which has been a great success among non-hunters women, the awards ceremony of the regional championships for dogs to follow on wild boar and hare, were at the center of the day on Saturday 7 September. In front of a packed room in the exhibition center spaces, the champions were proclaimed. Between applause and nice handshakes, the finalists of a series of work tests that took place in the Tuscan territory followed one another.
Over one hundred days of competition for dogs engaged in different specialties: followed, stopped and searched. The National President of the Federcaccia Massimo Buconi and Moreno Periccioli, National Vice President, in participating in the awards ceremony alongside Councilor Remaschi, both highlighted the importance of the experience gained in Tuscany in giving life to the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters. An advanced project that also represents a model for the complicated national events ; an original experience that demonstrates how positive and strategic the unitary question is today. Unity is not a value in itself but becomes so when it is founded on solid foundations with a strong programmatic value; the formulas of the past to date have proved to be limiting and defensive. It is necessary as soon as possible with courage open a new page for the accomplishment of a long journey. Without alibis or demagogy.
