Widespread discontent
The hunting associations A.N.L.C., ENALCACCIA, ARCICACCIA, ANUU, E.P.S., C.P.A., CACCIATORI ITALIANI and FIDC, forming part of the extended control room, have acted as interpreters of the widespread and justified discontent created among the Venetian hunters for the heavy penalties brought to the hunting calendar following the recent sentences of the Veneto Regional Administrative Court (n. 1989 of 28.12.2023 and n. 1990 of 28.1.22023) which unexpectedly brought forward the closing dates of the hunting of turdids, of various species of ducks and species that can be hunted in pre-opening.
Prejudices against hunting
They also expressed strong concern about the repetition of rulings by the regional TARs which were poorly argued and which reveal evident ideological prejudices against hunting and on this basis they asked the Region to take measures with the utmost urgency to restore the planned hunting times from the current hunting calendar.
How to get positive results
They also reiterated the belief that there are solid technical and legal reasons, as also occurred in the previous hunting season, to argue for the desired new regional resolutions using the motivations used for the memories presented in the administrative appeal and any other intervention that could support this act. Finally, the hunting associations have also made the staff and technical skills of their study and research centers available, in the belief that common and coordinated work can produce a positive and convincing result.
