The alarm of the ODAF
"In the Leprignana park, in the municipality of Fiumicino, the situation within the urban area is increasingly critical due to the high presence of wild boars, whole and numerous herds of sows with offspring circulate undisturbed at any time of day or night, in the areas of the park, streets, leisure and recreation areas and children's playgrounds, the latter forced to remain indoors".
Areas bordering the capital
This is what was denounced by Flavio Pezzoli, president of ODAF Rome (Order of Doctors of Agronomy and Doctors of Forestry of Rome and province). In addition to the capital, therefore, it is necessary to deal with the neighboring areas as regards the emergency represented by these ungulates.
Concerned citizens
“The high number of wild boars, of which we have photos from citizens, – adds Pezzoli – could also attract predators, such as wolves, many of which are present in the neighboring areas. This is why we ask the new mayor Baccini for an urgent table” (source: ODAF Rome).
