A great return
Back again this year, and we are at the 41st edition, one of the most eagerly awaited events by enthusiasts, but also by many onlookers of all ages. We are talking about the Songbird Fair of Church Uzzanese, a small town in the province of Pistoia located right at the exit of the homonymous motorway exit, therefore easily accessible.
The place of the festival
The Fair, with an adjoining market, will be held at the Sandro Pertini Park starting at 5 am, and will continue even after the songbird performances. On the two previous evenings, 13 and 14 August, it will then be possible to taste the typical dishes, including game, of the Tuscan and Pistoia tradition to happily await the mid-August. Participation is obviously open to all. A great opportunity not to be missed.
A small village
Chiesina Uzzanese extends along the western edge of the Valdinievole, of which it is the smallest municipality, north-west of the Fucecchio marshes and north of the Cerbaie hills. The municipality is made up of the main inhabited center and three hamlets: Chiesanuova, Molin Nuovo (both in the northern part of the municipal territory) and Capanna (located south of the main inhabited area).
