The subsequent house search, carried out by delegation from the Public Prosecutor's Office of Palmi, confirmed the suspicions on the real activity of the investigated subjects; were in fact seized, in addition to 67 shotguns with a large amount of ammunition, 4 bird nets and 6 dormice traps, as well as 90 specimens of dormice (glis glis) and 7 finches (fringilla coelebs), found in home freezers, demonstrating how the 16 subjects practiced poaching repeatedly also against species protected.
