Commitment to the Government
A motion was approved yesterday in the Chamber of Deputies, based on a proposal from the Hon. Bruzzone and the Hon. Carloni, Pierro, and Bergamini, committing the Government to undertake several initiatives.
Calendars and wildlife management
Specifically, these are:
– give certainty to planned hunting, with particular reference to the necessary stability of regional hunting calendars;
– facilitate better wildlife management by overcoming the exclusivity of hunting forms, the equivalence of qualifications for selective harvesting throughout the national territory and an update of protection restrictions near mountain passes.
Wild and farmed wildlife
Furthermore, the agenda serves to implement the guidelines of the jurisprudence of the Court of Cassation, as indicated by the Government itself in response to a question (4-00538) presented in the current legislature, regarding specimens of wild fauna and those of bred, differentiating, also for the purposes of use, the species of wild origin from those of farmed origin".
