The decisions of the Prefecture and TAR
News arrives from Umbria that updates the case history relating to the denial of a hunting license. The protagonist of the story is a man from Perugia who expressly requested the revocation of the decree with which the license itself had been taken away from him, in addition to the ban on possession of ammunition. However, the Prefecture and the TAR said no. The reason?
The disputed charges
This person is considered too dangerous. The revocation was in fact triggered after the complaint by the mother's former carer, on charges of persecutory acts. However, the complaint had led to nothing, to the point of having the case closed. The revocation was however confirmed because the man had poor self-control, irreconcilable with the possession of weapons.
New instance in sight?
As underlined by the administrative judges, among other things, these decisions have in no way the intent to punish, but rather to give rise to a preventive-cautionary action. The appellant will however have the possibility to present a new request regarding the ban on possession of weapons.
