The President Massimo Buconi, the Presidency Council and the whole Italian Federation of Hunting sadly greet the death of Franco Perco and cling to the pain of family and friends. Graduated in Law and Natural Sciences, he was one of the pioneers of Italian wildlife and hunting management, especially in the field of selection hunting, selective control as well as the use of natural areas.
He was involved in the planning of some Hunting areas and many protected areas, the reintroduction of partridge, ibex, chamois, roe deer and red deer and the introduction of the mu fl one.
He has to his credit several publications and monographs on ungulates (deer, mussel, roe deer) and on naturalistic use. Consultant for several parks (primarily of the Abruzzo National Park), he was director of the Pordenone Wildlife Observatory for 14 years and for another 6 of the Monti Sibillini National Park. On several occasions he has collaborated closely with Federcaccia at all levels and in particular with its sector UNCZA (source: Hunting Federation).
