Gian Paolo Viezzi, number one of the regional section of the Friuli Venezia Giulia of Italian Federation of Hunting, announced the proposed amendments on Bill 220. These are the "Provisions on agricultural, forestry and fishing resources and hunting activities". The discussion of the document in the Regional Council began just yesterday, Thursday 29 June 2017. The hunting association also reported the resolution of two issues, the one on the hounds and the one "Prontocaccia", following the suggestion of the Friulian Federcaccia and the district presidents.
But what are the specific amendments? Title IV is dedicated to hunting. The articles concern first of all the contributions for the realization of the game processing centers, but there is also room for rules on game farming, taxidermy and fishing in inland waters, with reference to the use of followed dogs who have passed the practical evaluation test.
The use of hounds that have not passed this test is allowed instead up to one kilometer from the outer perimeter areas intended for the protection of fauna. Finally, the Ddl contains an amendment to the article relating to the support and recognition of the ornithological associations of Friuli.
