Highest honor
The Federal Council meets on 22 and 23 August in Umbria in Todi (PG) to celebrate the male and female shooters who in this XXXIII edition of Summer Olympic Games they kept Italy's honor high, bringing the tricolor to fly on the poles of the Chateauroux Shooting Centre. The Council was opened by the President of the Italian and World Federation Luciano Rossi who welcomed the Federal Councilors and Regional Delegates to his region.
The names praised
During the meeting, the names of Diana Bacosi from Pomezia (RM), standard bearer of the Army Sports Group, and Gabriele Rossetti from Ponte Buggianese (PT), policeman of the Fiamme Oro (both winners of gold in the team competition) were praised mixed by Skeet) and Silvana Stanco from Rome of the Gruppo Sportivo Fiamme Gialle, silver in the women's trap. Also mentioned are the remaining members of the team Giovanni Pellielo (Fiamme Azzurre) from Vercelli, Mauro de Filippis (Fiamme Oro) from Valsamoggia (BO), Jessica Rossi (Fiamme Oro) from Crevalcore (BO) and Martina Bartolomei (Aeronautica Militare) from Laterina Pergine Valdarno (AR) for the excellent results obtained in the qualifying phase.
Specific needs
Regional Delegates will also take part in the work on both the first and second day of the Council: the meeting of the Council will allow the Federal Executive to examine the specific needs of the territory (source: FITAV).
