The two days of the first meeting of the year of the National Council ended yesterday FITAV in Rome. The topics discussed were many and all important, in particular the foundations were laid for the entire activity of the skeet shooting during 2016. As pointed out by President Luciano Rossi, however, the planning work had already begun some time ago, therefore the federal officials have developed all the necessary documentation for the National Council to decide in the best way what the lines will be guide for the season that has just begun.
There was room for the definitive approval of the list of companies that will host the federal competitions, but also for the program that will concern the youth sector. In addition, it was decided how to plan the participation of the blue teams in the scheduled international competitions, without forgetting the fundamental preparation in view of the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games this year (the Brazilian Olympics will start on August 5). The structural activity of the FITAV was another notable topic.
Specifically, the National Council approved the budget for the year that has just begun, adopting a series of administrative resolutions. It was therefore two very intense days and among the decisions of the decision-making body of the volleyball shooting there is the complete calendar of all the specialties for what concerns the new competitive season. It is worth investigating what races there will be.
It will officially start in February with various winter championships (double, triplet, individual and club), while in March the first round of the Italian championship in the “Elica” specialty is scheduled in Ghedi (province of Brescia). Also in March, the three days of the Italian small caliber championship (“Sporting” specialty) has been set, which will take place in Fulginia (Perugia). We will then continue with April and the Regional Championships 2-3 (veterans and masters), in addition to the first Down The Line Grand Prix in Montecatini Terme (Pistoia). May will instead be the month of the third and fourth round of the Italian Propeller Specialty Championship.
In June the Italian Paralympic Championship, while in July there will be the fifth and final round of the Italian Propeller Championship. In August San Fruttuoso (Mantua) will host the Championship of Regions for what concerns the Compak specialty and in September it will be the turn of the Coni Trophy of the youth sector. Finally, the date of the Olympic Trench Champions Cup has been set in October. The races and end dates of 2016 have yet to be assigned.
