As often happens, hunters know how to show great closeness and solidarity towards the less fortunate. A clear testimony of this is the beautiful gesture of the boar hunting team number 18 "Cautano-Vitulano", in the province of Benevento, which has decided to make New Year's Eve special for many in need. In fact, these hunters donated to the Local Caritas a boar weighing over a quintal (a truly remarkable specimen) that had been shot down near the Dormiente del Sannio.
The meat of the ungulate was used to prepare different dishes for the dinner at the end of 2018. Perhaps the gesture can be considered "small", but it certifies the good heart of the hunting world when it comes to coming forward towards those who have less. The stay of Caritas guests was made more serene by this circumstance (not the first in our country).
It was a wild boar taken to be examined and supervised with care. The local ASL has conducted all the necessary analyzes before arriving at the certification of the health of the meat.
