Much appreciated by the operators of the Workshop of the International Shooting Sport Federation the commitment made in the 1st International Grand Prix reserved for disabled shooters.
November 21, 2011 - The report on the 1st International Grand Prix reserved for disabled shooters, hosted by Tav Acquasparta (TR) last September, presented by President Fitav Luciano Rossi, was received with great appreciation by the operators of the International Workshop Shooting Sport Federation.
The ISSF operators, gathered in Monaco last weekend, were able to evaluate the results of the event thanks to a video and a detailed report on all aspects of the race.
Following the excellent response obtained by the Italian project, the ISSF has undertaken to agree with the IPC, International Paralimpic Committee, the extension of the existing protocol of intent for target shooting also to the disciplines of skeet shooting.
In 2012 Fitav will organize in Italy a 2nd international event for shooters with physical disabilities which, in all likelihood, will take place in Lonato del Garda (BS) in conjunction with the World Cup scheduled for May.
