As announced by the councilor Daniel Sabatini, Lazio region has decided to partially modify the hunting calendar 2017-2018 as regards the sampling of song thrushes and stone thrushes. The closure was initially scheduled for January 20, while the latest regional resolution added another 11 days.
This means that Lazio hunters will have the opportunity to collect the turdidae until January 31. It is a choice of common sense and that takes its cue from the calendars of the neighboring regions, specifically Umbria and Tuscany. Sabatini himself underlined that he had been the spokesperson for this change after having listened to the regional hunting associations. The Councilor for Agriculture, Charles Hausmann, was thanked for the sensitivity shown in this situation.
Furthermore, the migration of hunters in Umbria and Tuscany to continue hunting birds. The publication of the Lazio calendar dates back to last July 5th.
