Luca Briziarelli, Simone Pillon, Virginio Caparvi e Riccardo Augusto Marchetti, parliamentarians of the Alloy, were present in Bastia Umbra (province of Perugia) on the occasion of the eighth edition of Hunting Village which will end today. The four talked about the provisions approved by the Council of Ministers on the control of the acquisition and possession of firearms. The decree is already causing discussion: it is the transposition of a European Union directive and one of the novelties is the renewal of hunting licenses (no longer 6 but 5 years).
The Northern League parliamentarians accused the executive of having gone beyond the transposition of the EU text, inserting measures that penalize an entire sector and therefore hunters, sports associations and businesses. According to Briziarelli, Pillon, Caparvi and Marchetti, to deal with the matter should be the new government that seems about to be formed after the latest agreements between Luigi Di Maio and Matteo Salvini.
Il Carroccio said he was willing to open a comparison with all hunting associations, sports clubs and arms manufacturers to launch a strategic plan that relaunches the sector, which is too much targeted by ideological choices. The League has assured that the route will be reversed.
