Maurizio Fugatti, Diego Binelli, Vanessa Cattoi, Stefania Segnana and Giulia Zanotelli are the exponents of Alloy who signed a joint note in support of the Trentino hunters in trouble because of the failure to renew the firearms license. As stated in this text, the license may not be given to those convicted of non-culpable crimes committed with violence, namely theft, robbery, extortion, kidnapping and so on.
The same goes for those who are unable to prove their good conduct or trust in the abuse of weapons. According to the honorable members of the Carroccio in Trentino the renewal of the firearms permit is prevented for those hunters who have suffered convictions dating back to 30 or 40 years ago. The Trento Police Headquarters is not convincing with this attitude, given that in the past the same hunting licenses had been renewed without problems.
Among other things, in 2015 the Council of State readmitted the rehabilitated to the use of weapons, unfortunately some cases have not been thoroughly evaluated. The parliamentarians will turn to the Ministry of the Interior to find a solution as soon as possible, given that hunters in difficulty are several hundred. The goal is to get them back to hunting, alternatively a reform of the law to make it more current is not excluded.
