The City Council of Massarosa (province of Lucca) unanimously approved a motion with which he asked the The Tuscan Regional Authority to simplify the hunting and urban planning rules for the issue of authorizations relating to hunting stalks, both fixed and precarious. It is a request for adjustment of the regional law with respect to the national one, so as to meet the requests of hunters and do not burden the work of the municipal offices.
The deputy mayor Damascus Rosi referred to a complex and expensive procedure, therefore with this motion it was asked to implement the national legislation introduced by Environmental connection to the 2016 Stability Law. In particular, the authorization of the Province represents a qualification and a sufficient condition to install the stalking, which can remain until the expiry of the authorization.
As for the precarious stalking, they must be made of wood or other light materials or even with iron structures (including tubular ones). Rosi recalled the presence of many fans of hunting in Massarosa, consequently there are numerous stakeouts for wood pigeons and small game. Now it will be necessary to illustrate all these requests to the Region.
