An important fundraiser
Il National Coordination of Federcaccia Hunters keeps its promises. With the funds raised by the Coordination itself, by many sections of the Italian Hunting Federation and by groups of hunters following the flood that hit Emilia Romagna on 4 May, it was possible to renovate the IPPODROMO nursery school and nursery of Cesena. In particular, "La Buca", a motor room with soft games suitable for the little ones, and the garden which had been completely swept away by the fury of the water, were refurnished.
A souvenir plaque
Tomorrow, Friday 27 October at 10 am, in the presence of the mayor of Cesena and president of the Forlì-Cesena province, Enzo Lattuca, of the councilor for the person and family Carmelina Labruzzo, of the head of Coordination Isabella Villa, of the deputy Paola Gobbi who closely followed the aid to the flood victims and worked hard for the realization of this project, and of some FidC managers, the motor room and the garden will be officially handed over to the Municipality of Cesena. At the entrance to "La Buca" a plaque will remember the commitment of the Coordination, of FidC and of the hunters all for the realization of this particularly significant intervention. We would like to remember, in fact, that another kindergarten in the area, demonstrating great obtuseness, had refused the help because it comes from hunters.
Basic necessities
In the immediate aftermath of the May 4th event, with the funds promptly collected, the Coordination, in collaboration with the Civil Protection, had also brought basic necessities to the families who had remained displaced and had "fed" the people involved in cleaning the streets since mud. This is yet another demonstration of the commitment of hunters towards those in need and the environment (source: Federcaccia).
