Also this year we have reached the eve of one new hunting season, at the magical beginning of a new adventure that sees the protagonist our passion. We can say with good reason that the season will be characterized by a good calendar, with fair possibilities of exercise, regulatory possibilities certainly improved compared to the last few years. If that certainly is a positive fact, it is undeniable that this aspect is unfortunately accompanied by a still precarious situation and not up to par in the regional fauna consistency especially of sedentary game, and in the insufficient general control capacity of the problematic species that our Region has in its natural potential.
Certainly the difficulties are due to various environmental and environmental factors progressive anthropization of the territory, strong incidence and role of modern intensive cultivation, a conjuncture of cause and effect that only man can try to remedy since it is certainly the primary cause. To remedy the problem, Federcaccia Piemonte has for some time seen essentially and proposes as a solution and remedy the greater involvement of the Hunter in the area of effective care of the territory, the real possibility of being able to concretely contribute to environmental wildlife management in all its aspects necessarily as a protagonist as historically due.
It is precisely the current insufficient role in the Management which currently has the Piedmontese Hunter the cause of many problems that adversely affect not only the hunting activity but also in the field of social interest of better balance and protection of the regional wildlife heritage. Federcaccia Piemonte stresses that the requests for regulatory improvements expressly aimed at restoring the primary role of the Hunter, as in his expectations, will soon be effectively collected by regional policy as necessary and envisaged. as an indispensable incentive for greater involvement of the entire category in the general regional interest. Having said that, a sincere wish to all Associates to spend the upcoming new hunting season in safety and serenity (Source: Hunting Federation).
