The UNA Onlus Foundation will be the protagonist for the third consecutive year at the Game Fair in Grosseto, the most important event in Italy dedicated to hunting, sport shooting and outdoor life, which will be staged from 2 to 4 June in the splendid setting of the Tuscan Maremma. UNA, consolidated in its two years of activity as the bearer of a new way of understanding the management and enhancement of nature, will participate in the Game Fair 2017 with its own stand and with information points located in the FENAVERI stand, at the members Federcaccia and Arcicaccia . Here visitors will be able to learn more about the Foundation's activities and missions, helping to support the projects it carries out, such as the one announced in these days in collaboration with the Maremma Park, dedicated to the redevelopment of a hut for bird watching located at the mouth of the Ombrone river, which UNA financed with the sum of 7000 euros. Through its projects, curated by the most important Italian realities in the environmental, agricultural, hunting, parks, university and research world, UNA aims to overcome the ideological barriers that have made it impossible in Italy to create a supply chain made up of all the actors of the environmental landscape. To do this, it is necessary to create a programmatic synergy between different and apparently contrasting worlds, such as the environmentalist and hunting one, to give life to a new and profitable management of the environment through the protection of biodiversity, the enhancement of territories and the creation of new economy and work. In this challenging but stimulating path, the UNA Foundation is supported by prestigious partners such as Coldiretti, Legambiente, Federparchi, Symbola, the universities of Milan, Urbino, Naples and Pollenzo, as well as the most important Italian hunting associations such as Federcaccia and Arcicaccia.
Furthermore, all the initiatives implemented by UNA are designed to produce concrete effects on the entire Italian territory, starting from listening to the specific needs of local communities. This fruitful dialogue with the local institutional and associational representatives has already produced important results, as evidenced, for example, by the ongoing project in Cremona dedicated to the control of nutria, an alien species that produces enormous damage to biodiversity and the local economy. These topics will be at the center of UNA's participation in the Grosseto Game Fair, also through fun initiatives that will involve visitors. "With the presence within the Game Fair the path of consolidation of the UNA Onlus Foundation continues - declared the President Nicola Perrotti - which is becoming, two years after its birth, a recognized interlocutor and entrusts it to institutions and public opinion in the management and in the enhancement of the environment and the territory. Within this important event dedicated to nature and outdoor activities, we will exhibit our mission and the concrete results of our projects throughout Italy, starting with the one announced in recent days together with the Maremma Park ".
WHO WE ARE The UNA Onlus Foundation (Man, Nature, Environment) was born from the comparison between the environmental, agricultural, hunting, scientific and academic world, to make a qualitative leap in the protection and management of nature. This synergy has resulted in 5 projects dedicated to the protection and enhancement of biodiversity. It is a real cultural change that connects ideas and projects in which the traditional values of the communities, the protection of the territory and ecological activities become a new way of human action, finally in balance with the evolution of nature.
