Il Regional Park of the Euganean Hills has launched a new call for qualification for i selecontrollers, who will be in charge of managing the alien species within the perimeter of this natural area. The intention is therefore to launch one or more qualification courses shortly, in order to facilitate the control of wild boar and fallow deer in the Paduan park, as required by the National Law on Protected Areas (394 of 1991).
The lessons will be open to all those who request them, as long as they are in possession of the requirements established by the regulation for the control of ungulates in the territory of the Regional Park, approved by a specific decree. Going into more detail of the announcement, the selecontrollers must be resident in a municipality that is part of the park territory or in the province of Padua or even in Veneto.
Obviously, priority will be given to first hunters which have been cited. The hunting associations must now provide the list of members who will participate in the courses within 15 days of receiving the press release, so as to proceed with the actual programming and fix the exact number of selecontrollers to be enabled.
