Hunt in Ferrara: Questura and provincial police have started a series of meetings with the hunting world.
Almost 350 hunters crowded the hall of the “Il Melo” social center in Ferrara. A testimony of the interest that such meetings arouse, promoted by the Ferrara police headquarters and the provincial police, the only case in the national panorama, for a preventive dialogue with the hunting world.
Present at the meeting, in addition to the manager of the administrative and social division of the police headquarters, first executive of the state police, Silvia Fenu, the commander of the provincial police, Claudio Castagnoli, the chief inspector of the state police, Edmondo Cirelli, all as speakers , together with the councilor of the Municipality of Ferrara, Luciano Masieri, the provincial presidents of the Fidc, Marino Bersanetti, and of the ArciCaccia, Danilo Treossi, and the president of the Atc Fe / 1 Gianluigi Zucchi.
The instructions of the manager Fenu were followed with great attention, who illustrated how a hunter must have an irreproachable behavior, always. Behavior such as a state of alcoholic intoxication or under the influence of drugs, complaints of family abuse or even stalking, would result in the immediate withdrawal of the hunting license and weapon.
The intervention of the Chief Inspector Cirelli, who explained the methods of custody and transport of the weapons, was also very appreciated. Every single report on the behavior of hunters is examined with the utmost attention precisely because whoever has a firearm license, of any type, must always have an excellent conduct. Also important and interesting was the intervention of the commander of the provincial police Castagnoli, who illustrated the news on hunting, on the special protection areas and on the exceptions envisaged for starling hunting.
The images, calendars, mayors' ordinances and any other measure concerning hunting can be viewed on the site www.provincia.fe.it/ecouriamoci, also the result of collaboration between local law enforcement agencies.
