The meeting with the governor
The requests for the Region have been accepted Coldiretti Lazio to protect agriculture in crisis. "We are satisfied with the commitments of the Region - declared President Granieri - and ready to work in a spirit of loyal collaboration to protect the interests of farmers". Among the requests accepted is the containment of wild fauna with the urgent approval of the PRIU, the Regional Plan for Urgent Interventions, both for wild boars and wolves, for which the regional federation requests their relocation to more suitable areas, but also the proposal of first urgent interventions in favor of the supply chains in crisis.
Other measures
Agreement also on the strengthening and streamlining of the technical structure of the Department of Agriculture, to meet the numerous needs related to the crisis in the agricultural sector in Lazio. It is essential to have agreed to activate a permanent round table only with the agricultural representatives of the CNEL on rural development measures on all agricultural policy choices, as well as the strengthening of the phytosanitary service, especially in terms of prevention as well as treatment.
