Conero and Senigallia Park
The capture operations of 6 specimens of song thrush which were equipped with satellite transmitters and subsequently released.
Data assets
The project, financed by Federcaccia Marche and Federcaccia Nazionale and followed by the FIdC Studies and Research Office, is aimed at further increasing the wealth of data relating to the movements of thrushes during the winter and subsequently during the pre-nuptial migration.
General knowledge of the species
Combined with those of the specimens subject to similar operations scheduled in Sardinia next week, they will allow us to have an increasingly complete picture of the times and directions of the migrations to increase general knowledge of the species and have increasingly precise and reliable data to support the correct management of the species and hunting times (source: Federcaccia).
