That of the 17th November it is not an ordinary date if you think about everything related to hunting. ACR talked about it in one of his latest social posts: “Today we celebrate the world day of falconry. A historic hunting practice that has its roots in antiquity. In fact, falconry was born in the distant Asian steppes about 4000 years ago. We at Association for Rural Culture we promote Italian falconry, a splendid reality that focuses on the falcon and the surrounding nature ".
Born as a method of procuring food, the practice of falconry has evolved by strengthening its aspect linked to nature conservation, cultural heritage and social commitment within communities. It is worth mentioning that falconry was recognized as a living heritage of humanity in 2016 and registered in the List of Intangible Heritage as a transnational element of following countries: United Arab Emirates, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea, Mongolia, Morocco, Pakistan, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain.
