One gold, one silver and one bronze. Three medals and many records: this is the loot won by the Fiocchi Team at the Tokyo Olympics, celebrated in the Japanese capital from 23 July to 9 August 2021.
The Olympic Pit race crowned Slovakian shooter Zuzana Rehák-Štefečeková, who also set the new world record in qualifying with a perfect 125/125.
The Slovak shooter, protagonist of the competition from the first to the last target, won the victory thanks to her great performance in the final. This is his third medal at the Games, the first gold, after the two silvers won respectively in Beijing 2008 and London 2012.
The other undisputed protagonist of these Olympics was Alessandra Perilli, winner of the bronze medal in the Trap and the silver medal in the Trap Mixed Team. Alessandra wrote history by giving San Marino the first ever Olympic medals.
"We are really happy for these results, which fill us with joy and confirm us at the top of international skeet shooting - says Fiocchi Munizioni with satisfaction - Congratulations to Zuzana and Alessandra, but also to all the other shooters who made us excited during the Olympics. For us it is a pride to be by their side! ”.
