A few hours before the Brussels conference
"The positive role of hunters in protecting biodiversity in the EU": this is the title of a conference scheduled for tomorrow 1 February at the European Parliament in Brussels (Spaak room 1A2) from 9.30 to 13.00, promoted by the MEP from Brothers of Italy-Ecr Pietro fiocchi together with ECR MEP Andrey Slabakov. Remote interventions are foreseen by the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests, Francesco Lollobrigida and by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security with responsibility for hunting, Claudio Barbaro.
Participants
The presidents of the main sector associations will participate, such as: the Secretary General of FACE David Scallan, the President of Safari Club International Italia Tiziano Terzi, the President of CPA Italia Alessandro Fiumani, the President of the Hunters and Fishers Union of Bulgaria Vasil Vasilev and the President of ANLC Italy Paolo Sparvoli.
Discussions and transmission
During the morning, among other things, the positive effect of hunting in the protection of biodiversity and the role of hunters and the effect of the EU's Common Agricultural Policy will be discussed. The event will be streamed on the Facebook page of the FdI group in the European Parliament.
