Territorial Areas of Hunting
We always read with great interest every hunting policy position. The news of the Fidc of San Miniato was no exception, which makes the right considerations on many problems affecting hunting and ATC management, in this case, with particular reference to the Pisa 15 area. For us there is no doubt that it is necessary to give centrality to management, based on the indications of good science and on the involvement of hunters; we are against indiscriminate hunting launches and therefore we agree with many of the issues raised in the article, convinced, however, that the situation has degenerated above all since the precepts of law 157/92 which guaranteed representativeness in the ATC to all associations were overturned and the real environmentalists have been replaced by those nominated by acronyms attributable to other interests.
The problems encountered by FIDC
In fact, we just don't understand one thing, are these gentlemen aware that a considerable number of directors of the aforementioned ATC are directly or indirectly an expression of Federcaccia? So if ATC doesn't work or make bad choices who should be to blame? Surely not of cynical and cheating destiny. These problems, well described by Federcaccia San Miniato, unfortunately exist everywhere in our region, with another recurring constant, the Federcaccia in command almost everywhere. We therefore thank the colleagues who, with their article, have stimulated the discussion.
"With great power comes great responsibility" recited a line from a famous film and whoever has worked to almost militarily occupy the ATCs must be accountable if something does not work. Therefore, dear hunters, if the pheasants run out three days after the opening, you no longer find hares or the costs for hunting ungulates rise, observe which association expresses the majority of the councilors and draw your own conclusions. You will see that identifying the "guilty" will not be difficult, it is almost always the same (Arci Caccia, Enalcaccia, Libera Caccia and Italcaccia).
