We report the press release issued by The Tuscan Regional Authority below: "This is to communicate that yesterday, Monday 13 September 2021, the Council of the Tuscany Region, on the proposal of the Vice President Stephanie Saccardi, approved the resolution relating to hunting. In particular, in order to secure the hunting calendar for the 2021 / 2022 season, a resolution was passed that prohibits the taking of the turtledove species. So as to give certainty of the general opening of the hunt, established in Tuscany for Sunday 19 September. " (Source: Hunting Federation). The total annual number of garments that can be withdrawn from every hunter is:
- Woodcock no more than 10 head
- Snipe no more than 20 heads
- Wood pigeon no more than 30 heads
- Wild rabbit no more than 10 heads
- Pheasant no more than 20 heads
- Hare no more than 5 heads
- Palmipeds no more than 20 heads
- Lapwing, Rallidi no more than 35 heads
- Quail no more than 20 heads
- Gray partridge no more than 5 heads
- Red partridge no more than 10 heads
- Fox no more than 5 heads
Hunting of the following species is prohibited:
- Gadwall
- Codon
- Fighter
- Moretta
- Roe deer
